silly duckling

: i went down to put laundry in the dryer
left half the load in the machine that I thought was a dryer. was another washing machine.
then, I pushed "start" on the dryer, and didnt push in the quarters.
went down to collect my "done laundry" and it took me a couple minutes to realize that I hadn't pushed in the quarters, and still had laundry in a machine.


Otherwise, my day consisted of having just had a couple glasses of wine, and huge speil of getting downtown with Paul (i.e., had to go up to Addison to get to an L that had an elevator). Did a lot of walking, which made the doughnut I ate okay, cept for it's initial revolt on my tummy.
Then it downpoured, so we got lunch in a Dunkin Doughnuts on Dearborn (i think) and waited the rain out.

Started the day with getting bent spoke fixed on a wheel.

Then downtown, a tire picked up a piece of glass and went flat.

Got it fixed, but took a few hours... so weren't able to leave for CR today. But, can pack tomorrow.

hehehe... Paul had a sip of wine. That was slightly strange...
But considering that his apartment is all torn up because mold grew under his flooring and isn't fixed yet, he wasn't exactly thrilled to find that out.

David D puppies commercial! it's really cute.
It's too hot. I even have the A/C on, and I'm too warm. Meh.... I'll make ice tea or something.
